Consultations
In this age of so much free information, especially via the internet, there is still no substitute for a face to face visit with your doctor. Consultations may include a discussion of your signs and symptoms, a physical exam, answering your questions, educational materials, a diagnosis and plan of treatment.
These activities cannot be performed over the phone or by email. Much like an attorney, a doctor sells not only skills but also knowledge. You might simply want a second opinion about a condition that you have discussed with another physician. Please keep in mind that I am a plastic surgeon and have limited my practice to a narrow range of services – so I don’t treat issues like high blood pressure or heart disease. This web site describes the services that I provide most often.
My consultation prices are simple. If you would like to discuss a treatment that I provide then the initial consultation is free. If you would like a second opinion on a procedure or treatment that you will have done by someone else then there is a charge. Most visits that involve a minor surgical procedure take about an hour otherwise a typical visit is 30 minutes. Specific services like laser hair removal and wrinkle correction treatments are priced differently because they involve equipment or supplies. Click here for my prices..
Appointments must be made in advance. I do not see any “walk-ins”. I am usually booked about a week in advance but can usually work in a visit sooner if time is an issue. Call me or email to discuss the reason for your visit. Feel free to do your own research on the internet prior to your appointment. House calls are available to established patients – contact me to discuss this convenient service.
Your privacy is important. For this reason, I schedule 1 patient at a time. So, if you come on time and the visit goes as planned you will most likely NOT see anyone other than me.
