Dermal Fillers – Restylane
The generic term “dermal fillers” refers to a line of pharmaceutical products that can be injected to “plump up” the skin. While Botox works on nerves that cause some wrinkles, dermal fillers add volume to an area of skin – for example, fuller lips or easing the deep creases around the mouth.
I prefer the 2 dermal fillers with a good, proven track record of results: Restylane and Radiesse. Both companies have extensive web sites with lots of information and before/after photographs. I recommend that everyone spend some time at their sites prior to treatment.
Pricing for dermal fillers is “by syringe” – which to most folks means very little. However, as a starting point, plan on 1 syringe and we can discuss your specific needs during our face-to-face consultation.
